Most love the quirkiness and trendiness of the interiors, but they may not be to everyone's tastes. Some of the hallways have framed fashion photos and the occasional sculpture. The lobby has a hodgepodge of decorative features such as tall red-and-black patterned drapes, multicolored photos of traditionally attired tribal people from around the world, and Mother of Pearl inlay chairs. Inside, the feel quickly gets a lot less chain-like. Lovely of them to send me a $50 voucher to go on a trip via zenhotels though. From the outside, Hotel Zaza looks a bit like an upscale twist on an extended-stay hotel, with a plain peachy-beige facade livened up with ample archways and faux colonnades. I sent pictures and told them exactly what was going on. They delayed for weeks and then months and then played it that the hotel does not give the refund and that their hands were tied. Zen hotels gave me the biggest runaround. Rebooked via with another hotel the SAME DAY and left. The beach was not a sand beach but such massive rocks that you cannot sit, let alone lay there.Ĭontacted zenhotels immediately to let them know. (They then said we had to use our card at the same time by sliding it in the front door.which we did.but no electricity.)Įverything was ragged and looked nothing like the pictures. Yogurt was yellow, eggs were overly hardboiled, and they had sliced hotdogs for breakfast.like seriously what is that? The family was looking forward to getting away to somewhere resort-like, as it was portrayed especially after all the pandemic lockdowns, etc.and my kids literally had a mental breakdown when we got there because it was so terrible. The pictures on the site were nothing like what it actually was when we got there. It's the that cheats people out of their money. It's been months now and all I've received is a poorly written email from a non English speaker saying they will contact supplier…give me a break.my booking number is ******* and the hotel was Hampton Inn & suites in Cleveland Mentor….The hotel did nothing wrong. Even reputable hotels have written bad reviews about the fraudulent website. They are scammers that have been around for years now if you look and do a little research you will see the same thing happening to people all the time from these guys. They are looking into it…there's no number to call everything is done via email or chat! Just save yourself the hassle and headache and book with a reputable company. When I email them they say the same thing over and over. The 3rd party company did not send the funds to the hotel so I had to pay on arrival for a room I had already paid for weeks ago.The hotel said they do not have any contracts with zenhotels, zenhotels said they book through other companies and would not provide me with proof they paid the hotel because they did not pay them.

I booked through this company for a hotel room.they took my money and made the reservation, then weeks later when I checked into the hotel they had no record of the room being paid for.
